There Was A Bad Moon A Rising Tonight
There was indeed--

And here's what happened--

Came in at 10:02 after the 'coons had been feeding, but there was enough corn to keep him interested. All 186 lbs of him.

Nice!

Gun/load? I didn't see an entry/exit wound.

That looks like it could be a great place to look for arrow heads Big Grin

M70 Featherweight in .22-250. Took the hit between the eyes. He was laying in a pool of blood under the feeder and this pic was taken after I had dragged him out of the feeder pen.

Isn't that considered: hmmm, what's the term?
screwing up the scene.

Good shot, how far?
They don't go far when shot between the eyes.

In the Army/Germany. I took a moon shot behind a pine. Then used some oil coloring on a 14"x18" I think it was. Blk n Wht print and colored the moons and rays yellow. Won second place in a photo contest. Pics are quite similar.

Easy shot--78 yds off a rest.

I have another moon rising pic somewhere I'll dig up and post--
