Big Wonderful WyomingMoose Man wildboar in Michigan? Anyone been there?
I get the emails about once a week.
He gets $5000ish dollars for a 350-450 pound pig.
How big is his property, he doesn't really respond to emails.

Me too. I get lots of emails from them... There was a gentleman who was a member here who hunted there and took a rather large boar. That said, I don't think he is active here any more.

For those living up north, the availability of free-ranging wild boar is basically nil.

Jim KnightMy friend and I hunted there a few years back. At that time, he was not able to import ( from Canada) an "Alpha" Boar. We both took sows, which ran right at 200 pounds. The land is, I think, 260 acres? Lots of Alder swamp, thickets.
Its not a hard hunt by no means. The hogs are spooky, but they are fed every evening. If you are after a particular hog, it can be iffy. It you just want to shoot a hog, its easy.
The lodge is first rate, the guides are friendly, food is good, its a nice experience. The hogs themselves are some of the best eating I ever had, its almost a red meat as opposed to domesticated hogs. Its a fun hunt.
