Our place is about 100 mi ENE close to Matador, and as for how the Russian Boar genes got here, your guess is as good as mine. Although about 30 miles south of our place, people have taken 500lb pretty much pure Russian Boar. This is just what the old farmers who lived there all their life say, so who knows if any of it is true.
