Bobby Tomekdoubling up on pint-sized porkers
Another night of no sleep, but I did have my own entertainment. Lightning and thunder moved in, so I peeked outside -- and a bolt of lightning gave away the presence of a sounder of piglets. When they got to the fringes of my feeder light and two crossed paths, I touched off a shot with my Savage 10 FP-LE2 and managed to take out both...so I am a happy camper. The raindrops were coming down, and I had already put up my rifle, so the only thing I had for perspective in the photo is my hip-hugger (.45 ACP).
These will make some excellent chicken-fried treats (thanks, Crazyhorseconsulting, for that idea years ago!)

georgeldGood deal,
though hardly big enough to skin.
Glad you're still up n at 'em.
Sleep at times is hard to get even in retirement! Never got into the habit of getting up early. Now it's hitting me way too often.
Hang in there Bobby, thanks for sharing with us again.
