Javelinas at the feeder
Javelinas at the feeder
Put this feeder up about a month ago to see how trainable mule deer are.....this is near Kingman, Arizona...had the first javelinas I've seen on it come in around 9 am Saturday.....couple of big ones

GeedubyaLooks like fun to me. Javelinas are fun to pop.
As an aside, if you have feral boars of any size, those legs are not gonna suffice. I'd recommend driving a #4 x 2' piece of rebar in the ground at each leg and then wrapping wire around the rebar and leg, in order to keep your feeder from being toppled.

swifter 220.Ditto, What GWB says. Wild pigs would have a hay day with the feeder. Hopefully, The Mohardo's are eating the wild pigs if you have any.

We don't have hogs; just javelina, deer, and very rarely elk. I probably will upgrade the legs though.

Bobby TomekThanks for sharing the photos! Even though you don't have hogs, even the javis will rub against the legs and possibly overturn it when it's less than full and doesn't have the support of the corn's weight. I've had feeders knocked over and even had the timers busted up from the impact thanks to hogs and the occasional stray cattle coming in from one of the neighboring' places.
