Bill ThibeaultLooking for NC or TN Hog Hunt
Can anyone recommend a good guide or outfitter for wild boar hunts in either NC or TN? I live in VA, and want a hunt relatively close to home. Thanks in advance, Bill.

David CulpepperStay away from Cumberlain Montains Hunting Operation, they are a joke. Only have about 150-200 acres of hunting property.

Bill ThibeaultDavid,
Thanks for the heads up. I'm still looking for outfitters/places to hunt, but I will definitely cross-off the Cumberlain Mt. Hunting Operation.
Tight lines, straight shots, and good whiskey around campfires,
Bill.

Mad DogBill, google up the following 3 places.
1. Clarkrange hunting Lodge
2. Caryonah hunting Lodge
3. Wilderness Hunting Lodge
All 3 are located in the Cumberlands in middle TN. I hunted the 1st two, years ago. The 3d one I can only go by what some buddies have told me that went there. All three have 1200-2400 acres to hunt on. Depends on if you want to hunt with dogs, spot/stalk, or sit in a blind. Prices are pretty comparable, except Caryonah is the highest. All three are hunting preserves, but you can hunt them year round, so you could work the hunt into YOUR schedule.
Hope this helps.
