KabluewyThat's serious serial aerial hog killing. It's in some of us more than others.

SilveradoWe took 70 hogs off 2000 acres last year during deer hunting season (bow and rifle) and we didn't make a dent in the population. When it's not hunting season a couple of local guys trap and hunt with dogs. So far it's a losing battle. This year we're hoping the drought thinned them out a little. We won't know until October when bow season starts. We talked about chipping in for a helicopter hunt just for fun but our place has too much trees and brush. No open fields at all.

PhatmanNow I have a buddy down in Florida with a P-47C. Now if we could rearm the old girl that would be a lot better for Hog control..LOL

georgeldWith all the fire's around Texas.
What's the word on the pigs? They dying from smoke & fire? OR moving elsewhere?
Should be good shooting on the migration runs I'd think.
Thanks,
George
