Quick Trip
Decided after supper to run out to the close-in "automatic" pig spot for a sit. Got there at 6:58. Pigs showed up at 7:17, 65-lb sow down and dead at 7:18--too damn easy!

Took the .25-06 tonight-120-gr Hornady Interlock HP to the head does 'em every time.

Sorry no pics--didn't take the camera.

Perfect pit-sized porker...NICE GOING! tu2 tu2

I like your choice of bullet. Being a holoow point, that bullet gets overlooked by many reloaders for serious hunting but is excellent for deer and hogs in the 25-06.

My .25-06 is an old (paid $137.50 new Eeker) for it about 35+ yrs ago and its preferred load is the W-W 120 gr Positive Expanding Point. The Hornady 120 gr HP is the closest I can find in a component, and fortunately I found a load that shoots .5-.7" groups at 100 yds. It has a Timney trigger and a Leupold 3.5-10 AO scope. Killed many a whitetail and hog with it,
