Re: Which .358 bullet for Wild Boar?
Thanks for the input guys. I like to shoot and develop new handloads just as much as I like to hunt hogs. So I will probably end up trying them all and choosing the most accurate. The Nosler Partition has worked well for me in the past, so it will be the first one I try. I'll let you know how it turns out.

358owner....I suppose any of the above mentioned cartridges will work well on the porkers...but as to the Swift A-Frames, I spoke with a company rep and got to meet the president of Swift at the Dallas Safari show...the rep told me, and their new manual I picked up also says, that the A-Frame needs at least 2000fps to reliably expand. I personally think it is way too much bullet for hogs, but thats what makes a horse race.

Good luck and good shooting,
Eterry

Take a look at www.northforkbullets.com
It looks like they give good expansion as 358 velocities.

Have you considered the Speer 220 grain Hot Core? Very tough bullet.
