Live OakSummer duldrums but a little guy
starting to get "summer" slow. Feeder went off and deer came in. All but one deer left and the coons showed up. Wanting to let two of the three coons ( I have already trapped a bunch!) line up for a shot. About them being close the deer would try to stomp them! Coons left but deer stayed. Really moon lite, I saw a dark form cut in to the tree shadows between me and the feeder! Deer stared in that direction for a long time, finally this little guy walked in. 138.4 pounds, 416 Rigby. Picture of my lift in action, 138 not really testing, but a pig is a pig!

Bill/OregonYes, looks like a nice size for BBQ. Liking your lift, Live Oak.
Once the summer slowdown begins, when do things pick back up -- September? October?

Live OakAnytime if it gets really dry. Corn becomes a staple then! Spring is the best. Them get used to eating corn during deer season. Then about February people have stopped fill their feeders and the boars get careless for food!
