Which is better for a big tusker euro-hog?

Romania or Croatia? 3 or 4 days would work.
The plan is to take the Wife to Venice Italy first, then hunt hogs somewhere.
My concerns are taking my own rifle, least hassle from airport to the facility, nice accommodations and as few surprises as possible.
Not a fan of big commercial operations. More attracted to landowner type or father and/or son guided hunts.
I appreciate anyone who can share. This will be my first trip to Europe.

Charlie64.
What month? Assume free range? Assume you are talking about one for the wall 20 cm plus tusks?
I personally would look at Bulgaria or Turkey, but you get great pigs in Romania, Poland, Czech and Hungary. Lady Luck and Diana also help!
Lots of outfitters offering trophy pig hunts - K&K, Mistral, S&B.
Good luck.
Cheers

High seat night in Romania in winter - Marius Hunt Romania.
Is shot a monster on a driven/beat but that is the exception.

The hunt was a stop over between going to a more valued red deer hunt. We were in a hurry.
I actually did not see the tusk. The boar was 400 plus pounds. Three guys could not lift him into a pickup. Had to drag him.
Let me find a picture.
I have big hands
The hunt was a single gun small beat/drive. First time I saw the boar I thought it was a sow with a piglet. The piglet was a German short hair pointer in chase. Shot it with a borrowed smooth bore beretta a300 with slug at 100 plus yards - closer 125-150. Best shot in my life. Hit him again with Texas heart shot. Hog was sill going and we were down to out last round. Neither Marius or I I couldn’t keep up with shot boar and dog as they went up a hill. A local villager ran and shot it with last slug to kill it One of the Best Hunts of my life. It was crazy we were passing a a300 with a single round as a baton chasing the twice shot boar and dog up a steep hill.

customboltA beast there Mike, tusks or no tusks. Wow! Thanks.
Charlie64. I'm thinking September this year, daytime, free range, small operation preferred.
Diana Hunting is worth another look. I may just send them a note to see what they can come up with.
crshelton. Not too fussy, 300 pounds plus with maybe 3 inches of exposed bottom choppers.
Another one for Hunt Romania, check.
No mention of Croatia yet?

custombolt-- thanks for the response. Here is an Okie boar that I gave away because 2 of the 4 big tushes were broken.
I shot this 300 pounder in a creek where he was fighting the chase dogs. Both left side cutters were broken.
The biggest boar of that day last October was larger and shot by another hunter. If I can locate the picture, I will add it to this post.

customboltDarn nice tusks there in the bottom picture cr.
eny: I saw & commented on your Romania snow boars. That and what bwanamarm told me is what lit the fire again for boar hunting. December is not off the program yet. My concern is snow and ease of getting around.
The Wifey isn't keen on Romania but I'm working on that.
I sent an email to a hog guide at Limpopo Diana Tours out of Denmark. See what they have to say.
Keep 'em rollin' in. I need all the help I can get.
Worth mentioning for opinion is some outfitters require a group. Makes it tough on a single hunter.
Much appreciated as always.

Beretta682EAlso Marius has excellent rifles and scopes.
I would just use his guns and skip the whole taking guns hassel, especially, if you are traveling elsewhere.
I like Romania.
