Another one from Corsica

This one was shot during a stalking hunt in corsican mountains (alt:1900m).
Shot with my drilling, ammunition: 7x57R, RWS KS, 8g. 180 yards, he felt in his tracks.

In Corsica, you can find wild boars, like "russian boars", but smaller, you can also find feral hogs, and you may hunt them.

But you can find domestic hogs (ear tagged or not) in the country or in the woods...you need to be carefull before pulling the trigger!!!

Are the hogs regulated like game animals with a season, means of taking, etc. or are they considered vermin?

Hogs are considered like game animals.
But, because of population size, and problems to farmers, they can be hunted from june to march.
Night hunting is not allowed, but many people practice...
