Eland SlayerGIANT boars from Hungary
I recently discovered this outfitter in Hungary, with photos of some of the most truly amazing specimens of trophy boars I've ever seen anywhere in the world.

I knew they were probably quite pricey, but I didn't realize just how pricey!! I contacted the outfitter...and the price for one hunter to hunt a single trophy boar of this caliber is 6,450 € (which at today's exchange rate is $7,493 USD)
A pig like this is definitely on my bucket list....but I guess it will be quite a bit later in life. Haha.
I thought some of you might just like to see the photos and be aware of these monsters.

crsheltonThe long hair does add to their apparent size.
Do you have the body weight of any in the pix?

georgeldSure makes 'em look big when the camera's
stuck in their face and hunter is way back
behind.
Other than that, they're dandies.

StonecreekThere's no way to know, but those boar could weigh no more than 150 pounds. The camera distance/angle distorts the proportion to the extent that it is impossible to tell.

crsheltonFor example, this boar was chased by dogs into a small creek where I had to lean over from the bank to shoot it. This wet dude weighed 300 pounds, but was not posed to look big.

Eland SlayerObviously there’s no way for us to physically verify the weights on these pigs….but they are all well over 150 lbs. If you view the link in my original post, you’ll see a couple dozen photos….all of very big hogs. They say on the website these boars weigh 100-275 kg (220-605 lbs)….and I believe them. Most probably weigh 300-400 lbs.
They would never be able to sell 150 pounders for that kind of money….nor would folks like Corey Knowlton and Rick Warren be hunting there if that were the case.

Ole Miss GuyPrices in Turkey may be better. Their boar hunts posted on YouTube have really large hogs and there is not any camera trickery.
