You must be hunting on foot without dogs. I have only hunted hogs once and am scheduled to go again this Fall, but I got mine with a Cold Steel SRK with a 7" blade. The only gun I carried was a Colt New Frontier 22mag single-action revolver in case I dropped the knife. Really an adrenaline rush.
