+1 We could use some of that weather here, it was 110 yesterday with a heat index of 123. Ran my little catachoula pup in a training pen, she did well, but it got hot quick. "Dogo" got off his chain and has been MIA for about 2 weeks. Going broke looking for him and passing and posting fliers.

As of today the 6th of August he is still not home. My wife and I are heartbroken, but are trying to remain hopeful. He could still show up, and yes Donald he is a great dog and hunting companion, irreplaceable really.

I will let you know Juan what developes and thank you for your concern, you are a great friend.

Thanks Marco and Juan for your kind sentiments. There are many who are praying for his return, so we remain hopeful. I have no doubt Juan that you would help if you could and I appreciate that very much.

Juan your experiences with "lost" dogos are encouraging. No doubt he wondered off to do some poaching, his desire to hunt is incredable, and it has been way too hot for the old man to hunt in, so he decided to do some on his own. I hope he didn't get overheated and was unable to find water, as we are in a very severe drought, which is tough on all wildlife at present.

God Bless,
Larry

No I'm not sure, however it would have had to be someone who was an expert in handling such a dog, with the right equipment. No one in their right mind would have just walked up to him and put their hand on him. My greatest fear is that he might have been taken as a fight dog.

A couple of times he managed to bump the catch on the clasp in manner to get free, I'm guessing this is another case. I don't know how a thief would have known we were not home at the time in any case.

Thanks for you kind sentiments.
