anyone ever hog hunt at ft. stew. how did you do,what time of year.thanks

Went thru flight school there in '70 and during escape and evasion training I moved thru the swamps at night--every splash I heard was either a big cottonmouth dropping off a limb into the water, a 'gator, or a big hog getting ready to eat me--but never saw one.
