Live OakFirst chin can of the year
Traveled to my place to check camera. Had this boar showing up sometime. A scurry of squirrels was making a big pile of degermed corn under the feeder! Took my little box trap and set it with pecans. Drove out there last night to see if I had caught one. I had staked the trap but something had rolled it over and the door was open. Saw movement on the edge of the feeder! No, just my corn eating gray fox. He did not seem to mind the degermed part! A short time later a skunk barreling out the brush straight toward my tower. Don't know what was after it! Finally pig, but he did not like my little trap and was gone! I waited some time and he returned but before I could get the 375 up, gone again. I had looked at my phone the first appearance being 9:00 pm. The "jump in and out" went on for some time. I was thinking of giving up and going home. I saw movement to the right of the feeder, back again. This time he over stayed his welcome. He was still behind the feeder where the light is not very good. Bang, nothing! I did not see him run nor laying there! 10:00 pm. Loaded up, fired up the ATV and drove over there. Dead pig! Now I have to go back and fix fence. I shot a wire in two! 166.6 pound boar, 375 Ruger!

georgeldGood deal, sometimes it's more fun than others.
Sounds like this was one of them.
