Texas Hogs & Exotics
Just back from a hunt in Mt. Home, Texas. Hunted with Craig Anderson of Heaven's Doorstep, a chap I located thorugh this forum.
I was meat hunting and took a red deer cow and a feral hog. Good experience and would recommend him. He has, in addition to hogs, black buck, red sheep, red deer, fallow deer, and axis deer. I enjoyed my time with him.
cheers

To respond to the previous inquiries.
Pictures: never mastered the technique of getting them on but will work on it.
Contact: Craig Anderson, 830 329-6250
Guns & Bullets: I took two with me, not because they were the ideal but beause I like to use them. My Bowen enhanced Ruger in 45 Colt which I did not use because I was not able to get close enough. My Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70, using my handloaded 300 grain Noslers, took both critters.

IMHO the .45-70 is ideal on hogs.

Juan, thanks. If I come down to your place I would like to bring the Marlin with me. I looked at the other thread about the "honey hog" and was quite impressed. That's my kind of pig. Good on ya.
