Rain is over for a while so trying to kill the solo boar I have on camera. He is the only one I have seen since I got the sounder of 23. Temps are great and winds are near perfect.

Pretty nice sized boar, around here the active ones are mostly walking hulks of muscle and teeth, staying fairly lean.
Did you pattern him and cross paths or catch him at a feeding site?

dustofferThis one came in to a feeder as do the majority of those that aren’t trapped. We (landowner and I) keep constant pressure on them so it is usually nocturnal sits or walking the pasture to catch them enroute.

georgeldHey Dusty:
Add about 5 pounds for the loss of his head.
Sure made a mess that time. Good shot!

dustofferGeorge---that's the side he fell on and was laying on---the other side had no evidence of any exit wound. All of Bobby's postmortem exams finding bullets, etc---not for me.
