clark98utFYI...Nikon Buckmaster 6x18 on sale at Midway for $229.99
I get nothing out of this, just thought I'd pass along a good deal in case anybody was looking.

MuleriderApparently those are "refurbished", which is no big deal....except the refurb Nikon binocs I bought do not have their lifetime warranty.
If it's the same on scopes, it's something to consider.
I do like my 6x18 Buckmaster...the SF is great, and the new ones (2005+) are considerably smaller in length than the previous ones.

ReloaderMulerider,
There not refurbs, they are showcase demos. Brandnew and never mounted. It's a steal for sure, I've got one headed my way.
I put one on my 300 700P a while back and it has hung in there and has great clarity and brightness. I would rank these very equal if not better than the Leupold VXII series. I guess I'd have to say it's better since it comes w/ a 4" sunshade and Free oversize Target turrets in the box.
Great Scope

clark98utYeah, Mulerider's post had me worried, so I went back and read the fine print. These scopes have Nikon's full warranty unlike the refurbs. I jumped on the deal. Now my 17HMR can have it's scope back.

MuleriderGlad I was wrong!
Great scope...maybe they will add their new reticle, and/or the mil-dot, to the Buckmaster line.
Added: 1st time I read the ad (last week?), I did not see the "Full Lifetime Warranty" statement...maybe they added it after inquiries?
I think I need another one....

Jon JackoviakMulerider,
Nikon is planning on adding their new BDC reticle to the Buckmaster 6-18x40, but is not scheduled to be released until sometime around April-May.
