Does anyone here have any experience with the Vortex line of rifle scopes? I'm looking at the 2-7x35mm and 3-9x40mm line.

Hop over to www.24hourcampfire.com and ask on their optics forum. Seems to be more users of Vortex on that site. Doug from Camerland in NY sells them and posts both here and on the campfire. He has a very good reputation so you might want to give him a call.

I have both the crossfire and Viper scopes and love them both for what I use them for. I have the higher magnification scopes than what you are using but they work well.
