Swarovski Repair Service - Not Impressed So Far
Any experiences with Swarovski? I sent in a pair of EL 10x42 over a month ago for a non-warranty repair (dented metal past the objective) and the communication from them has been miserable.

I know Leupold has a good reputation. Any issues with Swarovski? BTW - I'm not concerned about paying for the repair, just the lack of communication. I don't know if it will be another week or another 6 months. When I called and left a message they basically called back and said "dunno".

Yeah, I've found them a bit slow at answering. Maybe they're not confident with their English and have to wait for the right consultant to be rostered on.

My only case was to do with one of their first-generation riflescopes, and their answer was that they don't service them any more. They suggested I contact the Australian agents - but they didn't reply at all.

My experience has been that communication is lacking, but when it comes back it’s like new.

It took a while for the binocs to change me back 5-6 months... but no issues. This was a secondhand purchase so it cost me like $100.

Got them back last week -replaced a whole tube on one side due to a dent. $138 including shipping. Not bad. They look brand new, but are mine from the serial #.

So net, poor communication during repair process; great quality work when done.
