Guys,

Anyone tried the Vortex Strikefire on an AR. At the price ($150 list) it can't be an Aimpoint ... but it might be useful.

Anyone have any experience?

Hi Mike, I have one of those. I'm running it on a S&W M4 clone. So far I've shot about 1500 rounds through the rifle and the sight has held up just fine. It holds zero and I've had no issues with it. The dot is easy to pick up in the middle of the day and still small enough to shoot a decent group at a 100 yard target.

The 2X double that comes with it is completely worthless.
