What is the difference between the leupold varIII and the VX III. TIA

The main difference between the old Vari-X III and the new VX-III is the VX-III has fast focus eye piece and the Index Match Len System, compared to the Multicoat 4 lens system on the old Vari-X III. The old Vari-X III is not the VX-II scopes.
