Illuminated low power scope for AR-15
I've toyed with the idea of an EoTech for my AR, but need some magnification. Has anyone mounted an illuminated VX-III 1.5-5 (or similar) on their AR and what was the outcome?

TIA.....

Have a Trij 1.25-4x24. Like it a lot. Good eye relief and good field of view.

i mounted an old bushnell 1-6 illuminated dot on a 7.62x39 colt. actually worked really well. the scopes looks clumsy, but in operation its great.

I tried the Millet 1-4x24 and can only describe the fishbowl effect at lower magnification as extreme. I'd like to try the Burris XTR 1-4x24 but it's a little spendy.

Put an eotech up front and a magnaifier in the back. Use the "flip to side" style and you get the best of both worlds.

I'll second the Trijicon Accupoint. I have a 3-9 x 40 on an AR-10 and love it. I have mine mounted with a Larue mount.
