http://www.valdada.com/vn/ior/03eThe MP8 is a very user friendly reticle and the fixed power IOR's are almost bomb proof.
Fixed 10x has little to go wrong with it.
I would go with a smaller objective if it were me, but you may have good reason for wanting to employ a 56mm objective.

thrilledtobeheregriff,
I've been shopping around for that same model. I have no experience with either the scope or USA optics, but it appears that you can save some money at SWFA.com.
They've got the 10X56 tactical non-illuminated MP-8 for $559.95, and the illuminated model for $100 bucks more.
I've dealt with neither company so I can't compare service, etc., just comparing price.

cheaptrickSWFA is good to go.
Being how IOR's customer service has been suspect in the past, getting an IOR product from a reputable dealer is a smart move.
SWFA has great pricing, as noted, and outstanding CS as well.
Ask for The Optics Goddess @ SWFA.
Tell her cheaptrick sent ya....

I wouldn't get a lit reticle from IOR.
My lit MP8 was a No Go!!
The lowest setting was too bright, making it almost useless.
Few scope makers do the illuminated reticles well. IOR needs some more work, IMO.

If you did'nt call Scott at Liberty Optics...you should have.
What you are going through with USA Optics is a repeat of the same old story I have heard about them for years.

white bisonWell, my 2 cents worth...I have a pair of IOR Binoculars...7X40. They are said to be under license from Zeiss,
have Zeiss Glass, to Zeiss specifications...and...supposedly the very same model used by the East German Berlin
Wall guards in years ago.
They are superb optical quality. We compared them to Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski, etc. and could find none better
in viewing quality.
I can't speak for the scopes , but the IOR 7X40 Binocular I have is simply tops.
Best Regards,
Tom
