I bought a Winchester 70 EW .270WSM that came with Leupold PRW 1" Low rings. I've never used this style before so can anyone tell me what diameter Objective these rings will take please?

I have used these on M70 Bolt Actions with 3x10x42 with no problem. 44mm might work?

Yes, I think so. I use these and the QRW on everything up to .416 Rem. The torque spec for the ring halves is 20 to 22 inch lbs.
