PSmithSwarovski scope question
Howdy all,
I was looking at a couple of 3-12x50 illuminated Swarovski scopes. Both are discontinued now so I can't get any information on the Swaro website.
#1 was a 3-12x50 PH Illuminated Plex-N 30mm, Swaro item # 57087
#2 was a 3-12x50 PVI-2 4-Illuminated High Grid 30mm, Swaro item # 57389
Near as I can tell there isn't much difference between the features of the two other than the High Grid. So what exactly is this and why is it a $400 premium?
Thanks,

scubaproThe difference is that the reticle of the PH is first plane and PVI-2 is second plane...
But You should know, that Swarovski is releasing the new Z4i edition in September, which is the follow-up edition for the PVI-2 modells with the reticle in the 2nd plane...
have a look here:

gr8fuldougI've heard these will not come to the U.S. They are a 4X zoom in illuminated only, designed for the European market which is basically all illuminated.

What a pitty - You will miss the best: illuminated reticle and SR-rail...
I won´t go with both options anymore...
