30mm main tube?
I have read that most 30mm main tubes allow for more windage and elevation movements. How much more adjustments are there roughly? I realize different brands will have different amounts.Any info or thoughts on this will be helpful, as I have only dealt with one inch tubes usually Leupolds.

Providing a wider latitude of reticle adjustment is really about the only advantage of the larger tube. Ironically, the last time I compared them Leupold specs show little, if any, difference in adjustment range for similar models in 1" vs. 30mm tubes. Whether this is just inaccurate published specifications (not uncommon with nearly all scope manufacturers) or is actual, I can't say.

I have read that 30mm NightForce scopes offer 100 to 110 MOA while most one-inch scopes offer about 65...

Besides what was already mentioned, the larger 30mm tube makes the scope that much stronger and more difficult to damage. Thats one of the reasons top grade tactical scopes have 30mm tubes. Plus, if the scope is one of the highest grades, the glass inside the tube is larger as well, transmitting more light than either the lower grade 30mm tubes or the standard 1" tubed scopes. So in a nutshell, they have a lot more to offer besides a wider W/E movement.
