Zeiss 3x9x36 Diavari

I found a new/old stock Zeiss 3x9x36 Diavari MC. Made in US(I think assembled). this is the predessesor to the Conquest line. It is priced at $499.00 What is your opinion of this scope? It appears to be better constructed than the Conquest. Appreciate any feedback offered. Regards.

I have 6 of them and buy every one I can find. They are terrific!!! That is a reasonable price if in excellent condition.

These scopes are very high quality. I would put these at a higher premium than the Conquest series. $499 for one would be a reasonable price. For two it's a steal.
I had one on a 222 but sold it with the gun. That was a mistake.

I have one of that scope, it is about 20 years old and made in Germany, but it is still splendid. This scope made me a lifelong Zeiss fan. So I have other Zeiss scopes and binos, and also Swaros and one Kahles/Helia. But Zeiss is no. one for me.
