Spotting scopes under $400
Gents any preferences for spotting scopes under $400 just for general range work and taking on hikes? After something fairly robust and nitro purged for the tropics, 15-45 power but don't need the best optics. Anything standing out in that price range these days?

Give Doug at Camera Land a call and I'm sure he will help you find what you need. Check out his Demo list. Some good deals can be found there.

Go to EBAY and watch for and there will be one along shortly if not already a Rochester NY made Bausch & Lomb. Mac Truck tuff and very good optics. Mine is a 15-60 it's bulky---did I mention tough and clear?

The Nikon Prostaff model Bob mentions is an amazing scope for the money. I'll never sell mine.
