Scope for a young, new shooter
I just bought a Remington Model 7 Predator chambered in .223 for my grandson's first rifle and I'm looking for a scope that won't break the bank -- something in a mid-power variable of decent qualtiy that will hold it's zero.

Other than the fact that I'm not a big fan of Leupold's (don't ask)I'm open to almost anything....suggestions would be appreciated.

Cameraland has the Pentax Pioneer 3-9x40 on sale for $89, it is the exact same scope as the Burris Fullfield II. I just bought one for my son. It would be perfect.
