How do they do that??
For claw mounts, solder the rings to the scope without screwing up the scope??

The only scopes I've seen rings soldered to were steel tubed, and those have to be refinished after the rings are soldered on.



The Germans are also very fond of epoxy in their rings. That's how I've seen them attached to aluminum scopes (not soldered).

The scopes are completely disassembled for soldering then reassembled after the main tube is refinished.

That scope went on a single shot by Alfred Schilling, who built the rifle and does the case colors.
