Steiner 10x42 predators
Anyone had any experience with them?

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

I have a pair that I use for knocking around.
Actually, they are pretty sharp with good colors.
They are kinda heavy.....I also have a pair of Swarovski 10x20 Rang....the Predators are not even close but then again they are 1/10th the price.

For the price and eastern woods hunting they are good enough.

Thanks very much LT. I like the 1/10th part.

Me too! Unless its really far or very low light, the Swarovski's aren't THAT MUCH better!

Can't comment on the optics but since someone tried to sell me a used pair of Steiners where the hinge flopped around like a chook with it's head off, I find it hard to take the brand seriously.
