i'm looking to fit a compact lightweight red dot sight to a compact carbine & have narrowed the it down to a docter gen 4 or aimpoint micro red dot. Can anyone tell me of their experience, preference of the two for close range hunting? I intend to both during the day and with lamping at night, it needs to be durable & hold it's zero & light so as not to spoil the ballance of the rifle. Opinions?
