One of my buddies has the VSR on his AR and loves it. It holds zero and is plenty bright. He did have an issue with the power source failing but Vortex replaced the scope before he even sent it in. No other problems in 2 years, with weekly use.
The PA looks like the shape of an Aimpoint leading me to believe it is a Chinese copy.

I have a Primary Arms 2 MOA. Works well on my 6mm Rem but it is definately not 2MOA more like 4MOA at the lowest setting that I can see the dot in daylight.

Vortex customer service has been reportedly outstanding; that has also been my personal experience.
