Here is a link on a how to, its really pretty simple if you have a metal lathe, I'm just wondering if someone knows the lens combinations to make it 6 power, I think the article says how to get 8 or so..

I know a guy who is 60 years old and has his grandfather's telescope. His grandfather was a carpenter, but figured out how to grind his own lenses.
