J.W. Blutepremier reticle
Went to premier reticle's website to see about getting a custome reticle for a Leupold scope.
Much to my suprise, it looked nothing like the old site and the only thing available now is a couple of scopes they are selling to the USMC.
No custome services listed......What a shame!
When did all of this happen?
What kind of business model revolves around selling scopes for the most limited issued rifle to the smallest branch of the millitary?
Oh, and a few civilians willing to pay $3000 (just in optics) to build a USMC clone?
Good luck to them .....I guess

mgoodrichWhen the Leupold custom shop decided to do there own custom reticles, they discontined the contract agreement with premier.
You now have to contact Leupold for that service.
I forget the exact date, but it has been around 4 years ago? Some one that remenbers better than I can give the exact date.
Premier is starting to offer their own scopes now and they started off in the high end of the market.
With so many players in the lower cost end of scopes, it does make sense to me to start in the higher end where the profit margins are higher and people are willing to pay top dollar.

mstarlingHappened after late 2003 which was when I had an A4 reticle put in a 2.5x Luepold Compact. They did wonderful customer service!
Damned shame that Leupold did what they did to Premier Reticle AND the Leupold customer!

LJSWhen the founder Dick Thomas died it went downhill. I was told they do factory installations for Leupold mostly now.

Wm.S.LaddLeupold will put any reticle you require into their Leupold scope . . . And then it's factory warranted.
Hard to beat Leupold. Go have a look at Saaed's gun collections.
