spotting scope
Hi guys any thoughts on a straight or angled spotting scope for ease of use etc, I've not had much to do with them, thinking of the Leupold sequoia 15-45

Thanks

When deciding between a straight or an angled the things to consider are.....

Will this be used with a window mount? If so straight is a better option as with an angled there is no place to put your head Smiler.

When doing long time glassing do you prefer to sit and look down into a scope (angled) or lay flat and look directly (straight).

Have you, or do you have the opportunity, to try both for an afternoon (perhaps friends scopes) to see what you can operate with more comfort? Some people can find and spot with only straight scopes and some have no problems with an angled.

Just some food for thought. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss optics.

Have a great day,
Doug
