Idaho Sharpshooterthere is such a thing as Karma...
I always figured it was limited to just "don't let your karma run over your dogma...".
But it occasionally it can be a positive thing. Last fall I got a great deal on an old Balvar 2.5-8X scope here because it had no bases and rings.
Today I was able to buy a set of bases and rings for a 98 Mauser here.
Woo-Hoo!

sambarman338Congratulations! I take it you are talking about the 'Custom' model with no internal adjustments - the scope world has gone to hell since then.
The problem with finding mounts is that, as far as I know, none have ever been made for rifles not around in the 1950s to '70s; even the Remington 7600 has the screws in the wrong place.
