Just wondering whether anyone on this forum has used this scope. I gather that it is a generation or two older than the current Leica scopes. Although truth be told I hardly need another scope, I’m always on the lookout for an upgrade in equipment. A number of years ago, I had a pair of Leica (then labeled Leitz) Trinovid compact binoculars and found the optical clarity exceptional. I’m wondering whether this Leica 2.5-10x42 scope is similarly topnotch optically. How does it stack up technically with the top European scopes? There is one of these currently up for sale at what I think is a very good price. Does anyone here have experience with this scope?
