Mounted my weaver 3-10x tactical scope today, which went well.

The scope comes with an allen wrench for the adjustment knobs. but the directions didnt explain how to use the allen wrench when adjusating the windage and elevation.

could someone clue me, as to how and why the adjustment is fitted with allen wrench fittings.

I was able to determine the reason for removing the knobs. Its just for convenience, while shipping so the scope settings dont change. I was thinking there were different knobs avaialable, thanks for viewing, anyway.
