Burris Timberline as a rimfire scope??
I recently acquired a Model 99 Savage in .358WCF. My eyeballs are telling me that my iron sight days are pretty much over (old guy thing, hate it! Mad).
Currently I have an older Burris Signature series 1.5X6 that is mounted on a rimfire, a real accurate CZ .17 MachII if it matters (wrong tool for the job anyway).
I'm going to pull that Burris for the .358 as it oughta work well for elk in the timer and that leaves one of my favorite gopher smuckers scope-less.
Here's my question. The Burris 3.5X14 Timberline with the A.O. and Ballistic-Plex reticle looks like a great option for an accurate rimfire capable of 135ish yard gopher smuckin, any one have any experience with this scope??
At the price point a guy can't expect to much but it looks like a fair option for shooting gophers in the alfalfa when not much of em is showing. Any opinions would be appreciated.

No Quarter
I had one but got rid of it because the eye relief was too critical.

You sure it's not 4.5-14? I have one on a Mini Mk-X and the eye relief is very good. It's actually about 4" and not that critical.

Mine is 4.5-14x32mm

I don't have the 4.5x14, I do have a couple 3-9 Timberlines, one on an AR the other on a Stevens 22-250

I don't have any problems with eye relief or position. Reliefe as posted by richj is very good.

Though a 14x may be a bit more sensitive
