Just bought a new zeiss and am a bit lost with it..... when i have it set on 12x and i focus it
the clarity of the object that it is aimed at is crisp/clear so to speak, now when i turn the power down to 3x the carity of the same object is not of the same clarity/quality, i need to refocus the scope, then once refocused the clarity is what it should
be, when turned back to 12x the scope again needs to be refocused....i want to know is this normal or has this scope got an fault
i have got a zeiss3-9x36 which once focused say on 9x when turned down to 3x still is focused with the same image quality as on 9x
any comments would be appreciated

Buddy you got problems. I would email both Doug and Zeiss asap.

I was hoping not to get that answeer , but then it just may be a blessing as its so frustrating to have to re focus the scope each time the magnification is changed

Hi Daniel,

well, that does not sound logic to me (I have a 2,5-10x50 myself) - how old is it? Maybe You could return it to the dealer...?!

But stay carefull - I had to return my Zeiss due to a problem with the illumination unit and after that the mechanics did not work anymore - the service of Zeiss was a disaster for me!

No more Zeiss for me anymore!!!

-> I will stay with Swarovski!
