My friend bought a Schmidt & Bender scope for his 460Wby. The elevation knob has the letters "H" and I believe "T" on the dial. Which way will lower the point of impact.

I always remeber it that "H" means higher which is to say that if you turn in the direction of the H then your bullet will hit higher on the target. So, to lower things turn it towards the T.
