Have the real deal on good stuff but thinking of putting a replica/clone on a couple of playtime .22's.
Anyone seen a replica/clone that is truly laser holographic or are they all just pretenders with a red dot.

I know of no other Holo sights besides EOTech's. There may be some, but I sure don't know who they are. I have a 512, and a 552 EOTech. I think all others are pretenders.

There are some clones. Has been a post on AR15.com by a fella who got one thinking it was real. He was VERY disappointed!

I'm a little weak on the real ones at the moment. I had a supposedly "Military" grade 551 with NV capability and all on my boys MP 15-22 and last trip to the range it was dead. Of course I tried 3 different sets of new batteries and still 100% dead.

It was put through no harder use than driving back and forth to the shooting range and being used with a 22LR.

I have a call into L-3 to see if they will fix it for me. I'll let everyone know...........................DJ

I have two and sent one with my middle son to Afghanistan. Mine are the "cheapy" n cell units and his is a 553. All three have worked well. The oldest must be almost 10 years old now.

Mine have been used on race pistols and subguns. Not light duty.
