Scope for a .338-378 Improved
Hello

I will in a little while get a Brno 602 in 338-378 imp cartridge. What scope will suit the rifle , i will use it for long rang shooting, and trying different loads and bullets plus iwant to try it out on some hunting aswell.

It will be suited for some types of hunting , and blowing up water can, melons, and so on to test it out. What magnification would be fine for it?

What manufacturer will be okay to use as either Zeiss, Leupold, and others.

Have you considered the Nightforce NSX?

It will certainly handle the recoil in my experience. Lots of choices in reticles as well.
3.5-15x50 perhaps.

I use a Burris 6-24x Signature on my BRNO 602 in 8mm/378. Works like a champ. I've got one on my 338/378 Wby as well. A Nightforce would be nice, but I just don't have that kind of cash right now.

Kingfisher,

Burris are not well distributed here in Aussie. Though they have a great reputation.

Leupy mk4s work well also.
