I asked around on another forum and had no results either. I'm curious as to how it compares against the Leica...

SWFA is selling the rangefinder for $699.00.It tells holdover for shooting .8X Monocular.Wish I could a least read a review.I hear that Lieca is having problems with the CRF model.

I compared Swarovski, Ziess, and Leica last year side by side. In low light, the Swarovski had the brightest view, the Lieca was the worst. The Ziess had more glare in bright light.

I've been using the Leica CRF 1200 for over a year now.

I love Swarovski and have many of their rifelscopes, but the Swarovski rangefinder is simply too bulky and heavy for what it is- simply a rangefinder. I know some will disagree that also use their rangefinders as a monocular.

I really like the lighted reticle/dot compared to Leupold, Bushnell, etc. The ergonomics and compactness, hence the name, are what sold me otherwise.

Having said all that, however, I can see myself selling it on Ebay next year and going with the Leica Geovid rangefinding binoculars. I have Trinovids now and don't see the point in carrying two separate items when one can do the same simultaneously.
