Bobby TomekMake certain you install them exactly according to the instructions. If that does not solve it, perhaps your base it out of spec. For years, I have used only Warne and have nothing but praise for them.

TexKDMaybe try pushing them all the way forward in the seats so they are preloaded some for recoil. Then holding them there in that position and tightening them down. You might also degrease both the mounts and the screws ahead of time. Maybe just a smudge of oil, or even none to get better torque. If you have not done these things already.

ArminiusWarne rings are very solid.
I have SEVERAL sets of them.
BUT: I am now trying Leupi´s, as the Warne´s QD rings keep turning the scope within the rings with constant de - and reattaching.
That vertical split for the scope, which is NOT totally separated from the split base, is not good!

AFRICAN LEADWOODWarne works great for me. Tighten the rings proprly to the scope tube. Use a torque wrench and apply to spec. As recommended make sure the rings sit forward in the bases. Tighten very tight by hand. I got mine so tight by hand that I struggled to remove them. Never had an issue on several rifles. Good luck. Are the base holes drilled correctly aligned?

eagle27You got your "W" mixed up when choosing Warnes, go with original steel top strap Weavers and really smile

enyThanks everybody for help. It seems that getting the rings pushed forward firm as possible in the bases was the answer. Switched to qr, and am having no problems now.
