Is there anybody, who knows what the difference in quality of the glass on the Nikon Monarch and the Nikon Monarch Gold?

I "think" the only difference between them is that the Gold has a 30mm tube.

Glass and coatings are the same, I believe.

That is true, the only difference is the Monarch Gold is a 30mm and the Monarch has a 1" tube.
